"Spanish & Latin Dance" is for all those who want to discover the Dominican attitude towards life not only through the foreign language but also through the people’s dances and music.
The program presents the language and dance world of the Dominican Republic. In the mornings, the participants tackle Spanish vocabularies; in the afternoons, professional dance instructors teach them the steps and passionate body language of the typical local dances Merengue, Bachata, and Salsa.
The rates given are for the Spanish Group Course (20 les/wk) and the Dance Group Course (8hrs/wk) OR Dance Private Course (4hrs/wk).
You can also choose to have Private Spanish Lessons (20 les/wk). Rates are available on request.
Spanish classes take place at IIC, while the dance lessons are taught in the dance academy about 5 min from the school.
If there is only 1 student assigned for a Spanish group level, the school reserves the right to convert the group course into Private 1-on-1 tuition instead which will result in a 50% reduction of class time.
If there is an official holiday (see list Dates & Prices), IIC will offer for Spanish Group Courses an optional 2-hour “Spanish & Culture“-group class for compensation. Private Spanish Lessons will continue to be fully rescheduled.
