PELSA - Private English Language Schools Association

PELSA is one of the two national associations for private English language schools in Canada.

PELSA Canada was incorporated in 1993 as a non-profit society, is governed by a constitution and is subject to bylaws under the Society Act of Canada.

PELSA Mission Statement:

To promote the development and growth of the English language school industry in Canada.
To establish and promote the highest level of standards in the industry.
To support the development of the industry through improved relations with all levels of government and the public at large.
To support professional development and the development of new teaching materials and methodologies within the industry.
To encourage and promote cooperation between private and public sectors in the field of education.
