SPANISH WORLD INSTITUTE (SWI) is a Spanish Language School in Colombia that provides overseas students with Spanish training regardless their linguistic level. We are an academic institution where students' exchange and interaction are the main tools to learn the new language and get a taste of Colombian culture.
Spanish World Institute aims to provide high quality and effective Spanish as a second language instruction and a deeper understanding of Colombian culture, through cross-cultural education, personalized attention and dynamic teaching methods in a professional and friendly environment.
We provide High quality programs in order to offer an optimum preparation for people interested in learning Spanish as a second language.We also facilitate a greater understanding among people of diverse cultural backgrounds and reveal the richness of South American culture, mainly Colombian.
We contribute to the Colombian community and maintaining a strong “social conscience” by providing students with the opportunity to take up voluntary experiences in several areas.
We support continuous professional development of our teachers and administrative staff.

Kurzfassung: Die Sprachschule überzeugt auf den ersten Blick für Deutsche, da sie als einzige in Bogotá „Bildungsurlaubsberechtigt“ ist. Für ein für mich positives Erlebnis scheiterte sie jedoch an der Unterrichtsqualität: Die Lehrkraft Maria wirkte auf mich als eine dominierende Frau, die kein wirkliches Interesse hat, dass wir vorankamen. Bloß nicht!!!!
