The very popular Young Learner English course at IH Cape Town is delivered by qualified and experienced young learner teachers. We follow a communicative approach where the focus is on speaking and the course is project-based. Books and materials are used as tools to achieve these aims.

Group Courses, based on availability:
Teens (12-14yrs) – 15hrs per week
Juniors (7-11yrs) – 10hrs per week
Please note Young Adults (15 yr+) join our adult Standard English group classes.
IH Cape Town can arrange host family accommodation for individual juniors & young learner students.
Trips and tours can be pre-arranged or upon arrival and depend on availability and weather. Guardians need to accompany students on outings.
Very Young Learners (VYL): Age 5 - 6 - €220 per week
Junior 1: Age 7-9 - €220 per week
Junior 2: Age 10-12 - €220 per week
Teens: Age 12-14 - €329 per week

- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over
Cancellation policy
- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Where a cancellation is received 1 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

- 1- No refunds whatsoever are given for cancellations.
Other terms
General Cancellation Policy
If the school is notified 21 days or more before the course start date, full fees (excluding the registration fee) will be refunded by International House. No refund will be given once the course has started or failure to start on designated registration date. Courses cannot be transferred between students. Please contact the school as soon as possible if you are unable to start your course on the date agreed.
