Levels: Elementary - Level A1, Pre-Intermediate - Level A2, Intermediate - Level B1, Upper Intermediate - Level B2, Advanced - Level C1, Proficient - Level C2
Standard Japanese course (20 lessons per week) plus 4 conversation lessons per week on dialects, slang and modern Japanese (16,000 JPY per week). Not for complete beginners (at least 80 hours of previous study) and not available in July and August. GenkiJACS (Genki Japanese and Culture School) has schools in Fukuoka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya and Okinawa: classes of up to 8 students (exceptionally 9 in high season), placement by level with an online test and a level check on the first day, 4 lessons a day from Monday to Friday (2 of grammar and 2 of language skills). All textbooks and study materials are included. Students must be able to read hiragana before they start. No classes on Japanese public holidays (free activities instead); the school is closed in the last week of December.

- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 18 years of age or over
Cancellation policy
- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.
Refund policy
- Bookings may be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee
- If a course is cancelled more than 7 days before the start date, the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 1 week tuition
- 1 week accommodation
- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 7 days before the start date the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 2 week tuition
- 2 week accommodation
Visa refusal
- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 100 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
Other terms
All fees are refunded for cancellations more than two weeks before the start of the program.
