Levels: Beginner, Elementary - Level A1, Pre-Intermediate - Level A2, Intermediate - Level B1, Upper Intermediate - Level B2, Advanced - Level C1, Proficient - Level C2
For physicians, nurses, medical students and other health professionals. 3 weeks: 40 hours of group Spanish, 5 hours of medical vocabulary and role plays, 5 hours of introduction to the local health system and 20 hours of shadowing in a hospital (observing interactions between physicians and patients). 4 weeks: the same with 40 hours of shadowing. Students can express preferences for certain specialties. Included: teaching materials and access to the school's learning platform, oral and written level test, certificate, at least two extracurricular activities per week, workshops and weekly tutorials.

The Academy is located in a refurbished historic building in the heart of Montevideo, opposite Plaza Matriz/Constitución, in the Ciudad Vieja district. It is close to major tourist attractions, theaters, historic buildings and nightlife attractions. Public transport to all other parts of town is ensured by the very efficient bus system. Regular cultural immersion activities offered are free of charge. Weekend trips can be organize.

Cancellation policy
- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
Refund policy
- 1- No refunds whatsoever are given for cancellations.
Other terms
Failing to attend class may be justified or not. We consider it “justified” when the student informs the previous working day, before 6pm. If you inform us after 6 pm of the previous day, the non-attendance is not justified and you lose the right to make up the class. In the event of being ill and not being able to inform us before 6 pm of the previous day, the condition for making up the class is to present a doctor’s note. There is absolutely no refund for money paid for courses or housing.
