Levels: Beginner, Elementary - Level A1, Pre-Intermediate - Level A2, Intermediate - Level B1, Upper Intermediate - Level B2, Advanced - Level C1, Proficient - Level C2
20 lessons (15 hours) of General English per week, always in the morning. LAL's Real Life English approach: grammar, vocabulary and skills practised in everyday situations in Cape Town. Classes average 12 students (maximum 16), all levels, start every Monday. The morning option is subject to availability (the standard General English course may be timetabled in the morning or the afternoon). Course books and materials are included in the price shown (EUR 8 per week for 1-7 weeks, 7 for 8-20 weeks and 6 for 21+ weeks). No registration fee in 2027.

- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.
