Levels: Pre-Intermediate - Level A2
General English every weekday morning, 9:30-12:30 (15 hours, 20 lessons a week), covering speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar, at 2 The Drive or 87 Church Road in Hove. Start any Monday, from 1 week; levels from beginner (A0) to advanced, with a level test on arrival. Mixed-nationality classes, average 9 students (2025) and a maximum of 15. Registration fee GBP 200, which includes the level test, welcome pack, ISE bag, notebook and pen, the class student book and workbook, and the ISE certificate. Free extra conversation and pronunciation classes during the year.

ISE Brighton is located in the centre of Brighton, 2 minutes walk from Churchill Square, the main shopping centre and central bus terminal. The building has a reception and café, with 6 classrooms, student Wi-Fi and access to classrooms for self study.
ISE regularly has up to 40 different nationalities of student studying at one time!
We have had over 100 different nationalities of student (128 to be exact!) since classes started at ISE in 1997.
The school is made up of undergraduates, post graduates and working professionals, with an average age of 28 years old.

- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over
Cancellation policy
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.
Refund policy
- Bookings may be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee
- If a course is cancelled more than 14 days before the start date, the following charges will apply:

- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 14 days before the start date the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 2 week tuition
- 2 week accommodation
Visa refusal

- The remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
Other terms
If notification of cancellation is received by ISE more than 14 days before the start of the course, ISE will retain the deposit / registration fee (£150.00). If notification of cancellation is received less than 14 days before the start of the course, ISE will charge 50% of the total fees. In the event of cancellation after the commencement or before the end of the course, no fees can be reimbursed.
