Preparation for the Cambridge English B2 First (FCE) or C1 Advanced (CAE) exam in Bournemouth: 20 lessons of the Core Programme plus 8 lessons (6 hours) of the Options Programme, 28 lessons (21 hours) a week, Monday to Friday, with experienced Cambridge examination teachers. The 45-minute lessons are combined into two 90-minute sessions a day (about 09:00-12:30). Set start dates in 2027: a 10-week course starting 4 January (to 12 March), 12-week courses starting 30 March (to 18 June) and 20 September (to 11 December), and summer courses starting 5 July (2 to 8 weeks, to 27 August) and 2 August (2 to 4 weeks, to 27 August); the winter and spring courses are sold in full and the summer courses can be shorter, subject to availability. The exams are held in Bournemouth, on the last Wednesday or Thursday of the course (summer: 28 or 29 July and 25 or 26 August) and the school enrols you. Cambridge exam fees are not included (First FCE GBP 235, Advanced CAE GBP 238; they may be revised). The Options Programme runs in the afternoon (about 13:30-15:00) and covers speaking, pronunciation and listening, reading, writing and vocabulary, Cambridge exam preparation or IELTS preparation; options are subject to availability. The fees include the lessons, the coursebook and a notepad, a student ID card, one year of access to the Beet Online e-learning platform, tutorials with your teacher every 4 weeks, regular progress tests, a certificate with a progress summary and access to the free social programme (activities five evenings a week). The registration fee (GBP 122) is charged once and is not refundable. The school is closed on public holidays (26 and 29 March, 3 and 31 May and 30 August 2027), with no replacement lessons, and for two weeks from 20 December 2027.

Other terms
Payment terms (from the school, 2027): fees must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the course; if you enrol less than 30 days before, the total is payable immediately. Registration fee GBP 122 (not refundable). Government-sponsored students pay a deposit equal to the first 4 weeks of tuition plus the registration fee, refunded when the school receives the financial guarantee letter.
Cancellation, curtailment or postponement must be received in writing. The school makes no discretionary refunds (for example for illness or the death of a relative) and strongly advises travel insurance. Until further notice, if written proof of cancellation is received before the planned date of travel and is supported by reasonable verification of disruption to travel, the school refunds 100% of the fees paid, less the non-refundable registration fee and any irrecoverable costs (bank charges, examination fees). If your visa is refused, fees received are refunded once the school has seen the official refusal letter before the intended start date; the registration fee and irrecoverable expenses are not refundable. Courses are not transferable between students. A course can be postponed for up to one year for reasons outside your control. If you have enrolled through a third party, its terms apply.
Accommodation: all cancellations must be in writing. With at least one full week of notice for homestay, student house or apartment accommodation the school refunds the accommodation fees less irrecoverable expenses; with less notice one week is charged. Notice is effective from a Saturday only. The en-suite apartments are non-refundable and must be paid in full in advance. Refunds are returned to the original source of payment.
Public holidays: the school is closed and no replacement lessons are given. Maximum class size 14. Minimum age 16; students under 18 cannot stay in the student houses or apartments. Visas are the student responsibility: without the correct visa the school ends the course and does not refund tuition and registration fees.
