Standard 30 Portuguese group course in Porto: 30 group lessons a week, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. Suitable for Bildungszeit / Bildungsurlaub. Lessons are in small groups of up to 6 students in the city centre of Porto, and the school has taught Portuguese since 2009. One group lesson lasts 55 minutes. Outdoor lessons and social activities are free of charge (minimum 4 participants); students pay their own expenses (transport, museum entries, refreshments). All class materials are provided. A registration fee of EUR 40, valid for 12 months, is charged on enrolment. Lessons not held because of bank holidays are rescheduled to other days or times whenever possible. The school is closed on 22-26 March, 21-25 June, 23 August to 3 September and 24-31 December 2027, and on 1 January, 27 May, 10 and 24 June, 5 October, 1 November and 1, 8 and 25 December. There are no specific start dates for absolute beginners: please check availability with the school.

Group lessons are Monday to Friday: Extensive 9:00-11:00 (10 lessons), Standard 9:00-13:00 (20), Standard 25 9:00-14:00, Standard 30 9:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:00. One group lesson lasts 55 minutes and one private lesson 60 minutes; private groups are limited to 4 students. All class materials are provided. Outdoor lessons and social activities are free of charge (minimum 4 participants); students pay their own expenses such as transport, museum entries and refreshments. There are no specific start dates for absolute beginners: check availability with the school.
The school also offers online lessons and private group lessons, which are not sold on LanguageBookings.com. Accommodation is with two host families chosen by the school (check-in on Saturday, check-out on Sunday; self-catered).

The school is closed on 22-26 March, 21-25 June, 23 August to 3 September and 24-31 December 2027 (and on public holidays). Minimum age: 18. Airport transfer from Porto airport (OPO): EUR 40 per trip for up to 4 people, offered depending on the arrival time (otherwise the school can arrange a taxi or a driver). Invitation letters for a visa: the school issues them, with an administrative fee of EUR 100 per letter (not refundable). Cancellation: with more than 2 weeks notice, tuition and accommodation are refunded in full; with less than 2 weeks notice there is no refund, but the student can defer the programme within one year at no extra cost. The enrolment fee and the administrative fee are never refundable. If an entry visa is refused, the refund is total except those fees (official proof of refusal required). Refunds are made only to the person who paid, and bank charges are for the student.
