How we calculate it
- Source: the 2027 price lists that the schools sent us or published, loaded into LanguageBookings from September 2026. Only schools that can be booked on LanguageBookings today count, and only prices dated 1 September 2026 or later.
- Course: General English in a group, 15 to 30 lessons a week, in the morning or full day. Exam preparation, business English, juniors, one-to-one, online, afternoon and evening courses are left out. For each school we take its cheapest course that fits.
- Price: the school's list price for 4 weeks starting on 1 March 2027. Many schools charge more in summer. No discount is applied, ours included.
- Registration fee: shown apart, as each school charges it. A 0 means that no registration fee appears in the school's 2027 price list as we hold it.
- Not included: accommodation, course materials, insurance, airport transfer and flights.
- Currency: prices in pounds are converted to euros at 1.19 € per £ (rate of 18 October 2026). Each destination is one city, except Malta, which counts as one destination.
- Median: half of the schools cost less and half cost more. With 5 or 6 schools per destination it is a guide, not a full market survey: we update it as more schools send their 2027 prices.
