The most popular course at am Language Studio, General English, is designed to give students a solid introduction to the English language and devotes special attention to grammar, vocabulary building, conversation and pronunciation. While conventional texts and audio equipment form the basis of the lesson structure, teachers encourage language use through role-play, problem solving, discussions and story telling.
Certificates of attendance are issued at the end of the course.

More than just English, we help students with accommodation arrangements and leisure activities. The school has 14 air-conditioned classrooms with interactive whiteboards, free Wi-Fi throughout, an internet lounge, a student cafe (Monday to Friday), a rooftop terrace and a self-learning centre. Led by a young and dynamic team, from the administration office to teachers and leisure, every effort is made to make your experience in Malta one to remember.

Cancellation policy
- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
Refund policy
- If a course is cancelled more than 7 days before course start: 25% refund
- If a course is cancelled between 7 and 3 days before course start: 30% refund
- If a course is cancelled less than 3 days before the start date full price will be charged.
Visa refusal
- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 120 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
Other terms
Booking and payment: a quotation is valid for 48 hours. The booking is confirmed on receipt of a 25% deposit of the total value of the booking, and the remaining 75% must be paid at least 2 weeks before arrival. Bank charges are paid by the student. Payments are in euro.
Cancellation before arrival: more than 28 days' notice, 25% of the total cost; 28 to 13 days, 50%; less than 13 days, the full price. No refunds after the course, accommodation or any other service has started.
Visa refusal: EUR 120 cancellation fee (registration, placement and administration), if cancelled with at least 7 days' notice; otherwise the normal cancellation policy applies. Students on a visa must attend at least 85% of their lessons.
Changes: any change to a confirmed booking is treated as a cancellation, although the school tries to be flexible, subject to availability, with an administration fee of EUR 50.
Placement test: students complete it online after booking; if they do not, they take it on the first day and may lose the first day's lessons without refund.
Lessons are held in the morning, afternoon and evening between 08:30 and 20:30. Students more than 10 minutes late may be asked to wait for the next lesson. The school is closed on public holidays and from 20 to 31 December 2027; lessons missed are not replaced. If only one student applies for a course, the school may apply a reduced-hours procedure.
Certificate of attendance: needs at least 75% attendance. Holidays during the course must be authorised at least 2 weeks ahead (one change free, then EUR 50 each).
Airport taxi: it waits a maximum of 60 minutes from landing, with no refund after that.
Complaints must be made in writing, using the school's complaint form, during the stay.
