Ramsgate is a seaside town in the district of Thanet, on the east coast of Kent, in the south-east of England. Its harbour is the only one in the United Kingdom with the title of Royal Harbour; today it has a large marina, and there is a sandy beach right next to the town centre.
High-speed trains run from Ramsgate to London St Pancras in about an hour and a quarter, and there are also trains to Canterbury. London Gatwick airport is about 130 km away by road.
The courses offered here are summer programmes for young students who travel on their own: Churchill House School of English Language, a school accredited by the British Council, runs English courses with homestay for ages 12 to 17 (in 2027, from 20 June to 21 August). Entry requirements for the United Kingdom depend on your nationality: check them on the official GOV.UK website before booking.
