In 2027, a two-week language course for teachers abroad costs from €495 (Colegio de España, Salamanca) to ≈ €1,670 at the school. Here are the 23 teacher courses with an official 2027 price list at 14 schools: English for teachers and CLIL in Ireland, Malta, the UK and New Zealand, refresher courses for Spanish and German teachers, and a CELTA. 6 of them are designed by the school for Erasmus+, and 6 of the 21 two-week courses cost €800 or less, the amount that the 2026 Erasmus+ course-fee rate would pay for ten days.

Prices for 2 weeks (1 week when that is the only length), in the school's currency and in euros at the exchange rate of 19 October 2026. Lessons last 45 to 110 minutes depending on the school, so we also give the price per hour. The «Host family» column is the cheapest single room at a host family for one week, as a reference for your budget. English for teachers and CLIL: 2027 prices

Paying with an Erasmus+ grant

Erasmus+ (Key Action 1) can fund courses abroad for school and adult-education staff. The application is made by your school or organisation to its national agency, which decides. In the 2026 Erasmus+ rates, course fees are paid at €80 per day per participant: €800 for ten days. Check the rules for your sector with your national agency.

New for 2027: the UK is back in Erasmus+. The EU and the UK agreed in April 2026 that the UK will join Erasmus+ in 2027 (GOV.UK, 15 April 2026): UK organisations can take part in projects funded in 2027, and the European Commission says individual opportunities from those projects start in the second half of 2027 at the earliest (European Commission). To enter, most European participants staying up to six months do not need a visa: an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is enough, costing £20 and applied for online, as long as they meet the Standard Visitor requirements; giving or receiving training is among the permitted activities (GOV.UK, Erasmus+ guidance; GOV.UK, ETA; ICEF Monitor, 23 September 2026). The UK rejoins Erasmus+ in 2027; according to the European Commission, opportunities from projects funded in 2027 start in the second half of 2027 at the earliest. For stays of up to six months most European participants enter with an ETA (£20) instead of a visa. Your national agency decides whether and from when your course is funded.
