IELTS preparation courses abroad in 2027: prices in Dublin, London, Manchester, Malta and more

Updated 20 October 2026 · Prices from each school's official 2027 price list

An IELTS preparation course abroad gives you exam practice and daily English at the same time. In 2027, four weeks of full-time IELTS preparation cost between £840 and £1,860 (about €1,000–€2,210) at the 18 courses below, in 14 cities in Ireland, the UK, Malta, South Africa, the USA and New Zealand. All prices come from the schools' official 2027 price lists. The exam fee is not included: you book the test separately at an official test centre.

How to choose

• Check the hours, not just the lessons: 11.2 to 25 hours of class a week in the table above.
• Check the length limits: some IELTS courses have a maximum (AM Language: up to 16 weeks; ACE: up to 12; Kings Oxford: 2 to 23 weeks) or set dates (San Diego).
• Ask whether the school is an IELTS test centre or helps you book the test: the exam is paid separately.
• Book through LanguageBookings: you get our discount on the course, you pay nothing upfront (your card is only authorised for the deposit, which is charged when the school confirms; the rest you pay to the school), and if you find the same course cheaper under the same conditions, we match the price.
