Language courses for families 2027: parents and children at the same school, with prices
Updated 2 November 2026 · Prices from each school's official 2027 price list
Some language schools let the whole family study at the same time: the children in a junior programme and the parents in an adult course, in the same school and the same weeks. For 2027 we have 13 children's programmes with prices at 8 schools where a parent can take a course too, in China, Germany, Malta, Philippines and Spain. And at 29 schools teenagers can join the regular course from 12-15, so a parent and a teenager can even share the same course.
Example: two weeks for one parent and one child, courses and host family for both, from €2,002.40 (Hispania, escuela de español, Valencia).
We update this page every week with the 2027 prices that schools send us, so new programmes appear here as soon as they are loaded.
Children's programme + course for the parents at the same school

The parent's course is the school's cheapest general course that starts any week; when the children's programme has fixed dates, choose the same weeks. The last column is the cheapest host family that accepts children of that age, per person and week.

Some children's programmes are packages with accommodation or activities included (the course name says so). Registration fees are not included; the course page shows them. The minimum age is the one the school has given us for that course. The host family price is per person; for a room for the two of you, or a whole apartment, ask us and we will check with the school.
How to organise it
- Choose the children's programme first: it is the one with fixed dates and limited ages. Then book the parent's course for the same weeks.
- Accommodation: a host family that accepts children (age in the table) or, for the whole family together, an apartment; tell us how many you are and we will ask the school what it can offer.
- Summer weeks fill up first: children's programmes run mostly in July and August, and the dates in the table are the ones the school has given for 2027.
- For children schools usually ask for a consent form signed by a parent and medical and diet information: we pass everything on to the school when you book.
- Book through LanguageBookings: you get our discount on the course, you pay nothing upfront (your card is only authorised for the deposit, which is charged when the school confirms; the rest you pay to the school), and if you find the same course cheaper under the same conditions, we match the price.

Frequently asked questions
Can parents and children study at the same language school?
Yes. With 2027 prices we have 13 children's programmes at 8 schools that also run courses for adults. The children go to their own classes and the parents to theirs, in the same weeks.
From what age can a teenager join an adult language course?
It depends on the school: most of our schools accept students from 16, and 29 accept them from 12-15 on the regular course (table above).
How much does a family language holiday cost?
For one parent and one child, two weeks with both courses and a host family for both start at €2,002.40 (Hispania, escuela de español). Each extra child adds their course and accommodation.
Tell us how many you are, the ages and the weeks, and we will put together the courses and the accommodation for the whole family.
